Biography
Called a "powerhouse" by The Hudson Dispatch, Patrick Patel has forged his position as a mainstay of the Hudson County legal community. For over 30 years, he has concentrated his thriving practice in the realm of personal injury and workers' compensation cases, as well as major criminal cases. Patrick Patel joined the law firm of Anthony Buffano, Jr. in 1985, located at 580 Newark Avenue in Jersey City, across the street from the Historic William J. Brennan Courthouse. There he quickly rose to partner by 1988, creating Buffano, Fattizzi and Patel, before taking the practice over entirely for himself in 1994. The Law Office of Patrick Patel is still headquartered at 580 Newark Avenue in Jersey City, and continues to serve the injured and accused of New Jersey.
An aggressive trial attorney, Patrick Patel conservatively estimates that he has tried over 150 criminal and civil cases in the Superior Court of New Jersey, and over the course of his career secured tens of millions of dollars worth of settlements on behalf of his clients. He has no fewer than 15 settlements and jury awards of over one million dollars each. He vigorously advocates on behalf of his clients to get them the best possible results, and in criminal court he tirelessly defends his clients.
